Our Partners

We are thankful to the organizations that support us in our mission to fight food insecurity.

CITY HARVEST

City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization, collecting excess nutritious food from farms, restaurants, and supermarkets to deliver free of charge pantries, soup kitchens, and their own mobile markets, serving over 260,000 people weekly and working to combat food insecurity through direct aid, community programs, and policy advocacy.

FOOD BANK FOR NEW YORK CITY

Food Bank For New York City has been working to end food poverty in our five boroughs for over 36 years. As the city’s largest hunger-relief organization, they employ a multifaceted approach centered on helping low-income New Yorkers overcome their circumstances and achieve greater independence.

NEW YORK CARES

New York Cares is the city’s leading nonprofit that mobilizes volunteers to meet urgent community needs by connecting them to projects in schools, parks, and other community spaces, as well as providing direct support for people facing hunger, social isolation, and educational barriers. Their programs address critical city-wide issues by organizing large-scale volunteer efforts, such as school revitalization, meal distribution, and collecting essential supplies for students and families.

GRACE CHURCH NEW YORK

Grace Church is committed to alleviating the hunger and homelessness crisis in New York City. The Church holds an ongoing food drive for non-perishable food and staple items that individual parish members graciously donate to The Red Door Place. Church members also volunteer monthly to assist in our community meal program.

NYC SERVICE

NYC Service builds partnerships to deepen and expand civic engagement through volunteer and service programs, creating sustainable change for our city's greatest needs.

ROBIN HOOD

Robin Hood partners with over 250 nonprofits to support food, housing, education, legal services, workforce development, and more to New Yorkers living in poverty across all five boroughs.

CITY AND COUNTRY SCHOOL

Leading progressive education since 1914 for children ages 2 through 8th grade, City & Country School partners with The Red Door Place through its community service program. Each week, a crew of middle school students comes to the pantry to help sort and prepare bags for our guests.
