Three Ways Your Team Can Make a Difference.
Tuesday Food Pantry
Help us distribute approximately 500–600 grocery packages to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity.
Your corporate team may assist with organizing food, packing grocery bags, preparing distribution areas, and helping ensure our pantry operates smoothly.
Saturday Community Meal
Help prepare, package, and serve approximately 250–300 freshly prepared meals to our neighbors.
Your team will work alongside our volunteers to help create a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Corporate volunteering at Red Door Place combines hands-on service with meaningful financial support.
Corporate groups are encouraged to make a contribution starting at $50 per volunteer to help cover the food and resources needed to operate our programs. Additional contributions are always welcome and directly support our mission.
Your company's generosity helps ensure that our neighbors continue to have access to nutritious groceries and meals.

Plan Your Corporate Volunteer Day.
To help you plan your team's corporate volunteer day in NYC, here's what you should know:
Advance Planning: Please submit your inquiry at least four weeks before your preferred volunteer date. Opportunities are limited and subject to availability.
Volunteer Days & Shifts: We offer two programs, each with two shifts:
Tuesday Food Pantry:
10:00 AM – 1:30 PM: Setup & Packing
1:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Food Distribution
Saturday Community Meal:
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Meal Preparation & Packing
11:15 AM – 3:15 PM: Packing & Meal Service
Group Size & Availbility: We welcome inquiries from corporate groups of different sizes. Our ability to accommodate your team depends on the program needs, your group size, the shift, and available space
.Physical Requirements: Our programs are fast-paced and involve extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting items weighing 20 pounds or more.
Group Coordination: Each team must designate a group leader to help coordinate activities during the volunteer shift.
Volunteer Amenities: Groups have access to a private room and restroom during their shift.
Corporate Contribution: We suggest a contribution starting at $50 per volunteer to help cover food costs. This allows your company to make an even greater impact by supporting the very food your team helps prepare and distribute.
